SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
NO. 59 OF 2000
(Approving the honorary name of"University Boulevard"
for 400/500 South Street between Interstate 15 and Guardsman Way,
pursuant to Petition No. 400-00-27.)
WHEREAS, Salt Lake City has received Petition No. 400-00-27 relating to the change of
name of 400/500 South Street between Interstate 15 and Guardsman Way to "University
Boulevard"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it appropriate to change the name on an honorary
basis without affecting the official name of the street.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the honorary name of"University Boulevard" shall be and hereby is
adopted for 400/500 South Street between Interstate 15 and Guardsman Way.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah this 8th day of
August , 2000.
