No. 6 of 1987
(Vacating a portion of an alley in the
block between 400 North and Ouray Avenue
and 800 and 900 West,pursuant to I
Petition No. 400-373-86)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY LOCATED IN SALT LAKE CITY,
UTAH.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City:
SECTION 1. That an alley located in Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and the same
hereby is, VACATED and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street,
avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
SECTION 2. Said alley is more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Lynch and
Glassman's Subdivision, a subdivision of Block 82, Plat "C", Salt Lake i
b r City survey and running thence West 480 feet to the northeast corner Lot
20; thence north 14.0 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 20, Block 2, of
said Lynch and Glassman's Subdivision; thence east 480.0 feet to the
southeast corner Lot 1, Block 2; thence south 14.0 feet to the point of
beginning.
RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made: SUBJECT TO all existing CV
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now
located on, in, under or over the confines of the above-described real property. ►�c�
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of obtaining,
altering,replacing,removing, repairing or rerouting said utilities and all of them. WI
Said vacation is also SUBJECT TO any existing rights of way or easements of
private third parties.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon publication.
