Franchise Ordinance No. 43 of 1987)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 43 OF 1987, BY AMENDING
THE DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN EXHIBIT "A" TO REFLECT THE "AS
BUILT" PLACEMENT OF THE COMMUNICATION DUCT.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Franchise Ordinance No. 43 of 1987,
relating to a franchise for Evans and Sutherland Corporation, be,
and the same hereby is, amended as follows:
Exhibit "A" of said ordinance, bearing revision date June
26, 1987, is hereby deleted, and the new attached Exhibit "A" ,
bearing a revision date of September 15, 1987, is hereby
substituted therefor.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon the date
of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council' of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
12th day of JANUARy , 1989 .

"AS BUILT" UTILITY COMMUNICATION EASEMENT
EVANS & SUTHERLAND/SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
SEPTEMBER 15, 1987
The following "as built" right-of-way easement is for the sole and perpetual use
needed to construct and maintain an underground communication duct line, said
communication duct line being buried approximately 2 to 3 feet deep; said easement
being a total of 20 feet wide, 10 feet perpendicular either side to the easement
centerline described as follows:
BEGINNING AT A POINT ON -THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF ARAPEEN DRIVE, SAID
POINT BEING S 490 00' DO" E, 422.02 FEET AND N 410 00' 00" E, 52.00 FEET
FROM THE SALT LAKE CITY MONUMENT AT THE INTERSECTION OF WAKARA WAY AND
ARAPEEN DRIVE (SOUTHERN MONUMENT IN THE INTERSECTION) , SAID POINT ALSO
BEING N 490 00' DO" W, 809.62 FEET AND N 410 00' DO" E, 52.00 FEET FROM
THE P.I. OF THE CURVE NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF CHIPETA WAY AND ARAPEEN
DRIVE (SAID P.I. BEING N 000 01' 39" W, 28.36 FEET FROM THE MONUMENT AT
SAID ROADWAY INTERSECTION), SAID MONUMENTS AS SHOWN ON SALT LAKE CITY
CORPORATION DRAWING NUMBER 22950 ACCOUNT 41-J, 1/4/85, SAID MONUMENTS
BEING LOCATED IN SECTION 3, T.1 S., R.1 E., S.L. B. & M.; AND RUNNING
ALONG THE SAID EASEMENT CENTERLINE S 410 00' DO" W, 104.00 FEET TO THE
WEST ROADWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF ARAPEEN DRIVE, 'THE POINT OF ENDING OF
SAID EASEMENT CENTERLINE.
