AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 6 OF THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, BY ADDING A NEW
SECTION 104 RELATING TO DRIVING WITH BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT OF
.10% OR HIGHER.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Article 6 of the Traffic Code of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and the same
hereby is amended by ADDING thereto a new Section 104 relating to
driving with blood alcohol content of .10% or higher.
Sec. 104. Driving with blood alcohol content of .10% or
higher unlawful. It shall be unlawful and punishable as a
misdemeanor for any person with a blood alcohol content of .10%
or greater, by weight, to drive or be in actual physical control
of any vehicle within this city.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 3rd day of August , 1982.
