SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 66 of 1985

Bill 57 of 1984 )
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE EXPIRATION DATE OF BILL NO. 57 OF
1984 TO MARCH 11 , 1986.
WHEREAS, in response to Petition 400-187 of 1984 submitted
by the State of Utah, the City Council of Salt Lake City enacted
Bill No. 57 of 1984 relating to the closure of certain public
streets and alleys in the vicinity of 250-300 North at 1500-r1560
West to accommodate the development of a state office park
campus ; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance, by terms of Section 3, expires
without becoming effective if certain conditions are not
completed within twelve months from the date of passage - or on
or before September 11 , 1985; and
WHEREAS, in light of good faith partial performance, it is
reasonable to extend the expiration period until March 11 , 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That the last sentence of Section 2 of Bill 57
of 1984 relating to the expiration date is hereby amended by
extending the same six months or until March 11 , 1986.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately, upon the date of its first publication.
