AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-31-1 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, RELATING TO THE
OFFICIAL STREET MAP OF SALT LAKE CITY.
WHEREAS, in response to the request for a change in street
name , initiated by the Engineering Division of the Public Works
Department of Salt Lake City, the City Council of Salt Lake City ,
Utah, has held a public hearing before its own body and received
a favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission as part of
its own deliberations. Pursuant to these deliberations, the
Council has concluded that the proposed change of street name of
" 1535 West" to be corrected to "1465 West Street" , as it lies
south of 400 North in the FAIRFIELD EXTENSION SUBDIVISION is
appropriate .
Therefore, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby
adopts the following amendment to the official street map
provisions of Title 51 .
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah:
SECTION 1. That the official street map as adopted by
Section 51-31-1 , Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City , Utah,
1965, as amended , relating to the names of streets be , and the
same is amended as follows :

Sec . 51-31-1 . That the street known as "1535 West Street" ,
as it is located south of 400 North in the Fairfield Extension
Subdivision, be changed to "1465 West Street" and the Official
Street Map is hereby amended accordingly, and any incorrect
addresses issued shall be corrected and reassigned .
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah,
this 5th day of August , 1986.
