(Vacating a portion of an alley that
borders on the east boundary line of
Richmond Park in Salt Lake City, Utah,
pursuant to Petition No. #..00-490-87
and Repealing Bill No. 50 of 1987)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY LOCATED ON THE EAST BOUNDARY
OF RICHMOND PARK IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, PURSUANT TO PETITION
NO. 400-490-87 AND REPEALING BILL NO. 50 OF 1987.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That a portion of the alley located along the
east boundary of Richmond Park in Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and
the same hereby is, vacated, and declared no longer to be public
property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way, as
more fully described below:
Beginning at a point that is West 165.000 feet and
South 49. 500 feet from the northeast corner of Lot 7, b
I Block 20, Plat B, Salt Lake City Survey; County of Ib 3'$� p41
d Salt Lake, State of Utah; thence East 33.000 feet; OK
thence South 86.625 feet; thence West 16. 500 feet;
thence North 70. 125 feet; thence West 16. 500 feet;
thence North 16. 500 feet to the point of beginning,
as described from the original survey of Block 20,
Plat B, Salt Lake City Survey, containing 0.0391

RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made: SUBJECT TO Fri
all existing rights-of-way and easements of all public utilities
of any and every description now located on, in, under or over
the confines of the property.
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purposes
of obtaining, altering, maintaining, replacing, repairing,
removing or rerouting said utilities and all of them, including
the City's water and sewer facilities.
SECTION 2. Said vacation is also SUBJECT TO any existing
rights-of-way or easements of private third parties and
specifically subject to mutual easements for access to the three
parcels abutting this vacated alley known by Sidwell Nos. 16-06-
461-026 and 027 and 028.
SECTION 3. The City's portion of the vacated alley shall be
offered for sale to the respective abutting property owners for
fair consideration subject to a reversionary interest in the City
if the vacated alley is not kept open and property maintained.
SECTION 4. Bill No. 50 of 1987, containing an error in tha
property description of this vacation, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect on its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
