(Rezoning Property Located between
9th and 10th Avenues and
"E" and "F" Streets
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51 -12-2 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, RELATING TO ZONING AND
FIXING BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, in response to Petition No. 400-86 submitted by
Oquirrh/Ensign Associates, requesting a change of zoning, the
City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah has held a public hearing to
consider said petition and the recommendation of` the Planning
Commission that certain property located between 9th and 10th
Avenues and "E" and "F" Streets be rezoned from Residential "R-2"
to a Residential "R.-2A" classification for the purpose of planned
unit development; and
WHEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions in
Title 51 .
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City , Utah:
SECTION 1 . That the Use District Map as adopted by Section
51-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah 1965,
as amended , relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use
Districts, be, and the same hereby is amended as follows:
Sec. 51-12-2 . Boundaries of Use District. That the
following described parcel of residentially zoned land in Salt
Lake City, Utah generally located between 9th and 10th Avenues
and "E" and "F" Streets, currently zoned Residential "R-2" is
hereby rezoned to a Residential "R-2A" classification and the Use
District Map is amended and changed accordingly.
Residential "R-2" to Residential "R-2A" :
Commencing at the Northeast corner of 9th Avenue and
"E" Street and running thence North along the east line
of "E" Street 330 feet to the south line of 10th
Avenue; thence Fast along the south line of 10th Avenue
330 feet to the west line of F" Street; thence South
along_ the west line of "F" Street 330 feet to the north
line of 9th Avenue; thence West along the north line of
9th Avenue 330 feet to the point of beginning . More
particularly described as all of Block 132 Plat "D"
Salt Lake City Survey.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty ( 30 )
days after the date of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
