No. 8 of 1982
(Fees for Use of Facilities)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 27-9-1 AND 27-9-2 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO FEES FOR USE OF FACILITIES.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City:
SECTION 1. That Sections 27-9-1 and 27-9-2 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to
fees for use of facilities, be, and the same hereby are, amended
as follows:
Sec. 27-9-1. Green Fees. There is hereby imposed on any
person playing golf at any of the City golf courses the following
fees:
(a) Nine holes - regular rate $3.00
(b) Eighteen holes - regular rate 6.00
(c) Nine holes - weekends and
designated City holidays 3.50
(d) Eighteen holes - weekends and
designated City holidays 7.00
(e) Nine holes - senior citizen rate 2.00
(f) Season pass - regular rate 200.00
(g) Season pass - senior citizen rate 112.50
(h) Season coupon pass - junior rate 50.00
Sec. 27-9-1 . Id. Senior citizens. A senior citizen shall
be any person 65 years of age or older. The senior citizen rate
established by Section 27-9-1(e) of these Revised Ordinances
shall be in effect for play on any Wednesday, unless a Wednesday
shall be a legal holiday, at Forest Dale and Nibley Park only.
Senior citizens playing golf on any day other than a Wednesday
and on Wednesday when it is a legal holiday shall pay the regular
rate as established by section 27-9-1(a), (b), (c) or (d) of
these Revised Ordinances, as appropriate.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the date
of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 26th day of January 1982.
