AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY LOCATED AT 924 SOUTH
GLENDALE STREET THROUGH TO 924 EMERY STREET, IN SALT LAKE
CITY, UTAH, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-570-87.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1 . That the alley located at 924 South
Glendale Street through to 924 Emery Street in Salt Lake
City, Utah, be, and the same hereby is, VACATED and declared
no longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue,
alley or pedestrian way.
JSECTION 2. Said alley is more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning
. at a point which is North 140 feet of
the Southeast corner of Lot 9, Block 3, Glendale
Addition, a subdivision within the SE 1/4, NW 1/4,
Sec. 11 T1S, RlW, SLB&M, thence West 300 feet to
the Northwest corner of Lot 2, thence North 14 dK
feet along the East right of way line of Emery
Street to the Southwest corner of Lot 18, thence
East 300 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 10,
thence South 14 feet along the West right of way
line of Glendale Street to the point of beginning. CA

RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made: p

SUBJECT TO all existing rights of way and easements of all
public utilities of any and every description now located
on, in, under or over the confines of the above-described
real property.
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the
purposes of obtaining, maintaining, altering, replacing,
repairing, removing or rerouting said utilities and all of
them, including the City's water and sewer facilities. Said
vacation is subject to any existing rights of way or ease-
ment of private third parties.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect upon publication.
