(Changing Name of Sperry Way
from Sperry Way to 2200 West)
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF SPERRY WAY TO 2200 WEST BY
AMENDING SECTION 41-6-1 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE
CITY, UTAH, 1965 AS AMENDED.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Official Street Map of Salt Lake City,
as adopted by Section 41-6-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the location and names of
streets located within the City, be, and the same hereby is,
amended as follows:
Sec. 41-6-1. Sperry Way shall hereafter be referred to and
known as 2200 West. The name shall be noted on the Official Map
of Salt Lake City.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published but shall not Cj
take effect until it is recorded by the City Recorder . The City
Recorder is instructed not to record this ordinance unless and E..�
until the Mayor certifies that the petitioner has paid to the
City the costs incurred in erecting new signs reflecting the name
change. In the event such condition is not met within one year,
this Ordinance shall be void.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
10th day of November , 1987.
