089 of 1985 - Rezoning an Area at Approximately 700 South to 1300 South and 4400 West to 4800 West from A-1 to M-1 0 85-1 P 85-141 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 89 of 1985 (Rezoning an area at approximately 700 South to 1300 South and 4400 West to 4800 West from "A-1" to "M-lA" AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-12-2 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, in response to the request pertaining to zoning initiated by GEORGE CONDAS, said petition being known as Amended Petition No. 400-281 of 1985, the City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony , filing and demographic details of the area and the master plan as part of its own deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change of property located at approximately 700 South to 1300 South and 4400 West to 4800 West from the existing Agricultural "A-1 " to an Industrial "M-IA" zoning classification is appropriate for the development of the community in that area; THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby adopts the following amendment to the Use District provisions of Title 51. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted 'by Section 51-12-2, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended , relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is AMENDED as follows : Sec. 51-12-2. Boundaries of Use Districts. That the following-described parcel of real property in Salt Lake City , Utah, presently zoned Agricultural "A-1 " , located approximately in the area of 700 South to 1300 South and 4400 West to 4800 West is hereby rezoned to an Industrial "M-lA" classification, and the Use District Map is amended accordingly. Agricultural "A-1 " to Industrial "M-lA" : The NW 1/4 and Lots 3 and 4, Sec 7 T1S R1W SLB&M; less railroad , street, and tracts deeded to Union Pacific " Land Resources Corporation, and Utah Power and Light ; �I � containing 165. 39 acres more or less. t� SECTION 2.
