No. 90 of 1985
(Vacating an alley between Parkway and
Stratford Avenue and Douglas and 1300
East Streets, in Salt Lake City, Utah
pursuant to Petition No. 400-332)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN PARKWAY AND
STRATFORD AVENUE AND DOUGIAS AND 1300 EAST STREETS, IN SALT LAKE
CITY, UTAH, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-332.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah :
SECTION 1. That the alley located between Parkway and
Stratford Avenue and Douglas and 1300 East Streets in Salt Lake
City, Utah, be , and the same hereby is, VACATED and declared no
longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue , alley
or pedestrian way.
SECTION 2. Said alley is more particularly described as
follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 194 Highland
Park Plat "A" , a subdivision of part of Section 20 &
21 T. 1S. , R. 1E. S. L. B. & M. and running thence East
12. 0 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 253 ; thence $'L
South 325. 0 feet more or less to the Southwest corner ', F
of Lot 241 ; thence West 12. 0 feet to the Southeast
corner of Lot 206; thence North 325. 0 feet more or )
less to the point of beginning .
RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made: SUBJECT TO
all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities
of any and every description now located on, in, under or over
the confines of the above described real property.
ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purposes
of obtaining , maintaining , altering , replacing , repairing ,
removing or rerouting said utilities and all of them, including
the City' s water and sewer facilities. Said vacation is SUBJECT
TO any existing rights of way or easements of private third
parties.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect upon publication.
Passed by the City County of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of December , 1985.
