090 of 2012 - Rezone properties 548 W 300 N Street, 543 W 400 N Street and two separate parcels sharing an address 0 12-1 P 12-18 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 90 of 2012 (Amending the zoning map pertaining to property located at approximately 548 W 300 North Street,543 W 400 North Street,and two separate parcels sharing an address of 375 N 500 West Street from M-1(Light Manufacturing)district to TSA-UC(Transit Station Area-Urban Center)district) An ordinance amending the zoning map to re-zone property located at approximately 548 W 300 North Street,543 W 400 North Street,and two separate parcels sharing an address of 375 N 500 West Street from M-1 (Light Manufacturing)district to TSA-UC(Transit Station Area-Urban Center)district pursuant to Petition No.PLNPCM2011-00665. WHEREAS,the Salt Lake City Planning Commission("planning commission")held a public hearing on March 14,2012 on an application submitted by Mayor Ralph Becker ("Applicant")to amend the City's zoning map to re-zone property located at approximately 548 W 300 North Street,543 W 400 North Street,and two separate parcels sharing an address of 375 N 500 West Street from M-1 (Light Manufacturing)district to TSA-UC(Transit Station Area-Urban Center)district pursuant to Petition No.PLNPCM2011-00665;and WHEREAS,at its March 14,2012 meeting,the Planning Commission voted in favor of forwarding a positive recommendation to the Salt Lake City Council("city council")on Applicant's petition to amend the zoning map;and WHEREAS,after a public hearing on this matter the City Council has determined that adopting this ordinance is in the City's best interests. NOW,THEREFORE,be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City,Utah: SECTION 1. Amending the Zoning Map. The Salt Lake City zoning map,as adopted by the Salt Lake City Code,relating to the fixing of boundaries and zoning districts,shall be and hereby is amended to reflect that the property located at approximately 548 W 300 North Street(Tax Id No.08-36-155-028),543 W 400 North Street(Tax Id No.08-36-155-014),and two separate parcels sharing an address of 375 N 500 West Street(Tax Id No.08-36-155-020 and 08-36-155-021),and which are more particularly described on Exhibit"A"attached hereto,shall be and are hereby rezoned from M-1(Light Manufacturing)district to TSA-UC(Transit Station Area-Urban Center) district. SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication. • Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City,Utah,this 11 day of December , 2012.
