RESOLUTION NO. 103 OF 1985
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION AND THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A., 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
The construction of a reservoir east of the University
of Utah campus to service the University's culinary
water needs. Also the construction of an underground
water distribution system to deliver water to various
distribution points on the University campus.
2. Palmer DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
