RESOLUTION NO. 104 OF 1986
APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND THE UTAH DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES,
DIVISION OF MENTAL HEALTH
WHEREAS, Title II, Chapter 13 Utah Code Annotated , 1953 (as
amended) allows public entities to enter into agreements for
joint and cooperative action ; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purpose;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah :
1 . It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows :
An agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and the Utah
Department of Social Services, Division of Mental Health
providing a grant to Salt Lake City Corporation - the Task Force
for the Appropriate Treatment of the Homeless Mentally Ill .
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City , Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute the attached agreement on behalf of
Salt Lake City Corporation.
