RESOLUTION NO. lok of 1987
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION,
AND SALT LAKE COUNTY
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U. C. A. , 1953 as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services ; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
acccgmplish said purposes ;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah :
1. It does hereby approved the attached agreement generally
described as follows :
An agreement with Salt Lake County for the Sheriff' s
Office to provide law enforcement services for watershed
areas.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
