RESOLUTION NO. 109 OF 1982
AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR
SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, under Bill No. 51 of 1982, the Salt Lake City
Council adopted a Compensation Plan for Salt Lake City
Corporation Employees; and
WHEREAS, under terms of said ordinance, the plan may be
amended from time to time by resolution or the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is presently desirous of amending
said Plan; and
WHEREAS, notice and hearing have been provided pursuant to
Section 10-3-818 Utah Code Annotated 1953.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah, that:
1 . Chapter II , Section 3 of the Compensation Plan for Salt
Lake City Corporation Employees, is hereby amended to read as
follows :
Elected Officials . The annual compensation of elected
officials shall be as follows:
Mayor $39, 000
Council Members 8,500
In addition to the foregoing , City Council members
shall receive a $100. 00 monthly cash payment as partial
reimbursement for expenses incurred within the scope of
their responsibilities. Council members shall also be
entitled to grou life insurance coverage under Chapter VI
of this plan.
2. Said amendment shall take effect on December 1 , 1982 .
