RESOLUTION NO. 109 OF 1987
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION AND
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF SALT LAKE CITY
WHEREAS, Title 11 , Chapter 13, U. C. A. , 1953, as amended ,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services ; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes ;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah :
1 . It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows :
An Agreement whereby Salt Lake City Corporation' s Office of
Human Resource Management provides to the Housing Authority
of Salt Lake City limited personnel services including
performing job recruitment , certifying job applicants ,
assisting in processing hiring , merit increase and benefit
documents and processing payroll information concerning
hours, longevity , sick leave and vacation.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms .
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 11th day of August , 1987.
