RESOLUI'ION NO. 112 OF 1987
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AN D
THE UTAH DE PARTME NT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Ti tl e 11, Chapter 13, U. C.A. , 1953, as amended ,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accanplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows :
An agreement for constuction of an urban sytem
improvement project for routes 1040, 1042 and 1043
to be financed in part from federal highway funds.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms .
