RESOLUTION NO. 114 OF 1989
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION,
AND
THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY,
U.S. CUSTOMS SERVICE
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A. , 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1 . It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
An agreement allowing the Department of Treasury, U.S.
Customs Service to use the City' s International
Airport firing range.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of October 1989.
