DAX MASCARENAS was a Mayor of Salt Lake City for the a�
WHEREAS, .,
day of Tuesday, February 5, 1985; and

WHEREAS, DAX received this honor because of guessing so closelyI
the correct number of leaves in the "'Mayor' s" Leaf Bag
during a recent contest; and
WHEREAS,
DAX met with public safety officials and toured the
Police and Fire Departments; and ai
WHEREAS, DAX attended a working lunch and various policy meetings j
with me throughout the day; and

WHEREAS, DAX courteously and conscientiously performed his duties !
as Mayor; and
WHEREAS, DAX is an exceptional young man with a great future ^I
ahead of him;
NOW, THEREFORE, I , Ted L. Wilson, Mayor of the City of Salt Lake, do
hereby proclaim that DAX MASCARENAS faithfully executed
his duties as Mayor of Salt Lake City, and commend him
for being the fine young man that he is.

yor Wilson introduced Dax Mascarenas, who served as Mayor-for-a-Day on
February 5, 185. The Mayor presented Mr. Mascarenas with a proclamation and commended
him for beingan exceptional young man. The Mayor said that Dax met with public
