RESOLUTION NO. 120 OF 1988
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND
UTAH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A. , 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
Reconstruction on Redwood Road between North Temple
Street to Tenth North Street involving adding to and
upgrading drainage facilities there between,
together with construction of curb, gutter and
sidewalk on the east and west approaches of 700
North to Redwood Road, with UDOT and the City
sharing the cost.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
20th day of September , 1988.
