RESOLUTION NO. 123 OF 1986
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND SOUTH JORDAN CITY REGARDING
FIRE AND RESCUE DISPATCH SERVICES
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A. , 1953, as amended ,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt_ Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows :
An Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for providing fire
and rescue dispatch services between Salt Lake City
and South Jordan City .
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City City, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
7th day of October , 1986.
