RESOLUTION NO. 140 OF 1988
AUTHORIZING THE E=HION OF AN
INPERLOCAL COOPERATION AGP09VEWr
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND WEST VALLEY CITY
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A., 1953, as amended, allows public
entities to enter into cooperative agreements to provide joint undertaki ngs
and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to accomplish said

TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally described as
follows:
An anEndment to the previously executed Interlocal Cooperation Agreement
for providing fire and rescue dispatch services between Salt Lake City
and West Valley City.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is hereby
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City
Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 15th day of
November 1988.
