145 of 1988 - Congratulate Students of Jackson Elementary School Early Learning Program ` R 88-1 ,r������ ��� T ���u�auE ��� ������u ������ ������ . _AW A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND MAYOR OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH Resolution Nn, 145 ofl9� .. -__-- ` WHEREAS, the Extended Learning Program students of Jackson Elementary ' have been very active in community affairs; and WHEREAS, they have worked with local, state and national agencies to clean up a toxic waste sight; and WHEREAS, they drafted a bill to create a 3uperfund for the State of Utah to receive donations to help clean up the environment; and WHEREAS, they raised money to make the first contribution to the State 3uperfund; and WHEREAS, they have recently been honored by the Environmental Protection ' Agency in Wahsingtnn, D. C.; and ' WHEREAS, they are continuing their efforts to enhance our community with a tree planting project.
