RESOLUTION NO. 77 OF 1988
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND
UTAH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A. , 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
An agreement to provide for a bridge replacement over
the Surplus Canal at Indiana Avenue, to be paid for at
80% by UDOT and 20% by the City and thereafter to be
maintained by the City.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
