RESOLUTION
NAMING THE EXECUTIVE TERMINAL BUILDING
AT SALT LAKE CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
"THE WILLIAM H. KIBBIE EXECUTIVE TERMINAL"
RESOLUTION 78 of 1982
WHEREAS, William H. Kibbie has served with distinction as a
member of the Salt Lake City Airport Authority Board since its
inception in 1976; and
WHEREAS, through his voluntary, dedicated, untiring and
unselfish service he has made great contributions to air
transportation and to the development of the Salt Lake City
International Airport and Airport II; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kibbie has been a steadfast advocate of general
aviation and through his support the City has created a superior
general aviation area at the Airport for the use and benefit of
those utilizing such facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Salt Lake City Council, in
honor of Mr. Kibbie, to name the Executive Terminal Building "The
William H. Kibbie Executive Terminal."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City
Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, that from this date forward the
Executive Terminal at the Salt Lake City International Airport
shall be known as "The William H. Kibbie Executive Terminal."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of Salt
Lake City that they hereby express on behalf of the City and its
residents their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the
invaluable and dedicated services rendered by Mr. Kibbie as a
member of the Salt Lake Airport Authority Board.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
