A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER OF $11 ,200
FROM THE CAPITAL PROJECTS CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
TO SUPPLEMENT OTHER FUNDING FOR REPLACEMENT OF A BRIDGE AT 500 NORTH
AND THE JORDAN RIVER .
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has requested an appropriation
in the amount of $11 ,200 to be used to partially fund replacement of a
bridge at 500 North and the Jordon River; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is supportive of completing this
project; however, the original appropriation was not adequate to complete
the project; and
WHEREAS, in fiscal year 1981-82 the Salt Lake City Council
established a continuing non-departmental capital projects contingency
fund to finance such unanticipated expenditures; and
WHEREAS, transfers from said fund are subject to City Council
authorization and approval ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Salt Lake City Council that
the funding referred to herein for replacement of a bridge at 500 North
and the Jordan River, in the amount of $11 ,200, is hereby approved
for transfer from the City' s non-departmental capital projects contingency
fund to the Public Works Department' s budget.
