RESOLUTION NO. ______ of 2021
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF THE SECOND
AMENDMENT TO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY,
THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY AND UTAH
PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AGENCY, FOR OPERATION OF THE THEATER
KNOWN AS THE GEORGE S. AND DOLORES DORÉ ECCLES THEATER
WHEREAS, under Utah Code Ann. §§ 11-13-101, any two or more public agencies may
enter into agreements with one another for joint or cooperative action.
WHEREAS, Salt Lake County, Salt Lake City, the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake
City , and the Utah Performing Arts Center Agency (“UPACA”) an interlocal agency, desire to
enter into the Second Amendment to an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement (“Agreement”),
attached and incorporated into this Resolution as Exhibit “A”, for the operation of the performing
arts venue to be known as the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment
Agency of Salt Lake City that the attached Second Amendment between Salt Lake County, Salt
Lake City, Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City and UPACA is hereby ratified, effective June
30, 2021, and the Salt Lake City Mayor, as the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency,
is authorized to execute the same.
