RESOLUTION NO. 97 OF 1988
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND SALT LAKE COUNTY, THE STATE OF UTAH,
AND THE UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A. , 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of%Salt Lake
City, Utah:
1 . It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
An agreement with Salt Lake County, the State of Utah,
and the United States Forest Service (Wasatch Cache
National Forest) for water quality monitoring
activities in Wasatch Canyons.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
2nd day of August 1988.
