Motion to Recommend with No Comment:
Based on the information listed in the National Register nomination form, the
information presented, and the input received during the public hearing, I move that:
1. The Commission finds that the Nettie Gregory Center appears to meet the
National Register criteria and;
2. Recommends its listing to the Utah State Historic Preservation Office and the
National Register Review Committee.
Motion to Recommend with Comments Added by the Historic Landmark
Commission:
Based on the information listed in the National Register nomination form, the
information presented, and the input received during the public hearing, I move that:
1. The Commission finds that the Nettie Gregory Center appears to meet the
National Register criteria and;
2. Recommends its listing to the Utah State Historic Preservation Office and the
National Register Review Committee,
With the following comments:
1. List the comments to add to the recommendation. The Commission may add
any comments they find appropriate but may wish to refer to the items listed
on SHPO’s evaluation sheet (Attachment C). These are listed below for
convenience.

Commission does not recommend listing the Nettie Gregory Center on the National
Register of Historic Places due to the following concerns:
1. The Commission finds that the Nettie Gregory Center does not appear to meet
the National Register criteria for listing. (include the basis for the finding,
which may consist of issues related to its physical integrity or significance).
2. List other concerns forming the basis of the negative recommendation. The
Commission may add any comments they find appropriate but may wish to
refer to the items listed on SHPO’s evaluation sheet (Attachment C). These
are listed below for convenience.

INTEGRITY: Major alterations or additions? New materials? Altered setting? Moved?
etc.
DESCRIPTION:
Is the property adequately described? Have contributing and non-contributing features
been clearly identified?

Have the appropriate criteria been used? Has it been justified? Is the context sufficient
in breadth and depth to support the claims of significance?
FACTS AND SOURCES:
Are the appropriate and best sources used? Are key dates and facts accurate?

Adequate photos, maps, drawings, etc.?
