The meeting was called to order by the Administrative Hearing Officer
at approximately 5:00 PM.

1. Conditional Use for Kennel Use at Approximately 505 & 523 W 500 S and 508, 512 &
520 S 500 W – Allen Glenn and Kimberly Jorgensen, on behalf of The Perfect Wag, are
requesting approval for a Conditional Use permit for a kennel use at the above-listed
property. Currently, the land is occupied by a vacant building. The subject property is
located in the MU-11 (Mixed-Use 11) Zoning District and is within Council District 2,
represented by Alejandro Puy. (Staff Contact: Ailin Leon at 801-535-7768 or

Principal Planner Ailin Leon outlined the petition as detailed in the staff report. She
stated that Staff recommends approval of the request.

Applicant Allen Glenn did not have further information but shared his anticipation to open the business if the permit is approved. The applicant noted a requirement regarding the fencing location. The hearing officer noted that it could be resolved
during the building permit process.

The Administrative Hearing Officer opened the public hearing.
Seeing that no one wished to speak, the hearing officer closed the public hearing.
